Daniel Hobbs is a lifelong Mainer. He grew up in Alfred, went to high school in Portland, then graduated from Nasson College in Springvale. The day after graduation, Dan took to the skies working for Northeast Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

Dan has since retired from Delta Air Lines but keeps himself busy working for Casco Bay Lines and Ledgmere Transportation, where he serves as a Wells school bus driver. He also served on the Wells Board of Selectmen.

Dan was elected and served in the 129th legislature representing Wells. He served on the Joint Committee of Environment and Natural Resources. His attendance record in the House was one of the highest in the legislature at 97%.

In Augusta, Dan will be a strong voice for local school funding and will respect the will of the voters, as he has in the past. You can count on him to protect Maine's natural resources, improve our transportation system, and strengthen our education system, which includes expanding broadband.
